Dental hygienists from across the country will convene in Long Beach, California, this October for the 2025 Annual Conference of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA). The three-day event, scheduled for October 4 to 6, marks the association’s annual gathering and coincides with the kickoff of National Dental Hygiene Month.
The conference will feature educational sessions covering current topics in oral health, professional development, and clinical practice. Participants will have the opportunity to earn up to 21 continuing education credits over the course of the weekend.
The event is expected to draw hygienists from a wide range of practice settings, offering structured learning as well as informal networking. Sessions will include presentations on emerging research, hands-on workshops, and discussions on evolving roles within the profession.
Multiple registration packages are available to accommodate different levels of participation and interests. More details on pricing and course selection can be found on the event’s website.
The conference will take place at the Long Beach Convention Center, with programming that includes both formal lectures and social gatherings. First-time attendees are encouraged to participate in a dedicated orientation and reception designed to introduce them to the event and connect them with returning participants and ADHA ambassadors.
Attendees are also advised to review the schedule in advance, select their preferred sessions early, and bring basic networking materials such as business cards. For sessions with limited capacity, digital check-ins will be required upon entry, and no changes to course selections will be allowed after September 19.
The ADHA notes that the conference venue offers complimentary Wi-Fi in lobby areas, and suggests packing light to accommodate the walking required between sessions, exhibit halls, and event spaces.
