Dandy has launched a premium denture solution priced for government health plans, according to a July 9, 2025, press release from the company. The Reimbursement-Aligned Denture Suite, which features a two-appointment workflow and turnaround in less than 10 days, is designed to both dramatically improve patient access and free up chair time for dentists.
With this solution, Medicaid beneficiaries and other patients with low-reimbursement insurance plans, including federal and state plans, can gain access to Dandy’s top-of-the-line Signature Dentures. Dandy’s Signature Dentures, which are known for their excellent durability, wear resistance, and esthetics, are made in the USA using high-quality Lucitone-certified resins and flexible partial materials and are backed by a 5-year warranty. According to the press release, the solution will support full dentures, partial dentures, and scan-based digital relines in a way that eliminates the need for kits, multiple visits, or analog labs.
“Until now, high-quality dentures were financially out of reach for many patients, and inconvenient for everyone,” says Daniel Hanover, co-founder of Dandy. “It’s hard for a lot of people to get to the dentist at all, much less five times, which is how long it usually takes to get dentures. With the efficiencies we achieve through AI, digital scanning, 3D printing, and other forms of automation, we can offer a better experience for patients and more bandwidth for dental practices—all without compromising on speed or quality.”
Dandy’s all-digital workflow begins with an intraoral scan instead of relying on physical impressions, and the company provides practices with an industry-leading scanner free of charge. Once the scan is acquired, it is transmitted to Dandy electronically along with any relevant notes and records.
Dentists then collaborate with Dandy laboratory technicians in a 3D virtual workspace, where they are empowered to control and approve each case before the dentures are manufactured. Dandy’s digital workflow ensures that nothing is lost and nothing is misunderstood every step of the way, so the final product is exactly what the doctor ordered. If dentists prefer to mail in wax impressions, they can do so and still enjoy the real-time collaboration with Dandy’s technicians and all of the other benefits of Dandy’s digital workflow.
“Our patient was very pleased with the final result, noting that the esthetics, bite, VDO, lip line, and midline all looked excellent,” says Dr. Green of Twin Buttes Dental, an early adopter of the two-appointment denture workflow.
