Premier Dental has introduced two new products — Traxodent Gel AlCl and Traxodent Gel FS — as part of its tissue management portfolio. According to the company, both gels are designed to help clinicians manage bleeding and sulcular fluid during procedures such as crown and bridge placements, composite restorations, and impressions.
Traxodent Gel AlCl contains 25 percent aluminum chloride. The company states that the clear, non-staining gel is formulated to deliver hemostasis and sulcular fluid control while rinsing clean without leaving residue that could interfere with bonding, impressions, or cementation. The formulation is designed to enhance gel penetration for faster results. According to Premier Dental, the product offers visibility during placement and rinsing, and comes in a syringe for targeted application.
Traxodent Gel FS contains 20 percent ferric sulfate and is formulated for procedures requiring rapid hemostasis. According to the company, it is designed for controlled placement and minimal gel spreading, supporting procedural accuracy. Like the AlCl gel, the FS gel also offers visibility during application and rinsing and is packaged in a syringe for easy delivery.
Premier Dental stated that both products are now available through authorized distributors. The company, based in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, manufactures and distributes dental products for use in daily clinical practice.
