Directa USA, the North American subsidiary of Directa Dental Group, has announced the upcoming release of the MyQuickmat Prime sectional matrix system by Polydentia. The product is expected to be available exclusively through Directa USA beginning in October 2025.
The announcement was made by Frank Cortes, president of Directa USA, a division of Directa AB.
According to the company, MyQuickmat Prime is designed to assist clinicians performing Class II restorations by incorporating a wedgeless matrix system. The product’s integrated ring system is intended to eliminate the need for traditional wedges and promote matrix adaptation and contact point consistency.
Directa USA states that the system includes strong and flexible rings to provide consistent tooth separation and support clinical longevity. The company also reports that the system is designed to streamline restorative procedures and reduce chair time.
