VideaHealth announced the release of AutoVerify, an artificial intelligence–based revenue cycle management (RCM) tool intended to automate insurance eligibility and benefits verification prior to dental appointments. The system is designed to support practices in confirming coverage before patient visits, with the goal of reducing claim denials, minimizing billing discrepancies, and improving the accuracy of patient out-of-pocket estimates before treatment.
AutoVerify connects with more than 350 insurance payers and consolidates eligibility and benefits information into a single workflow. According to the company, the tool provides real-time verification for front desk teams and integrates with existing practice management systems (PMS) as part of the broader VideaAI platform.
“Eligibility verification remains fragmented across dentistry, and the inconsistency creates real downstream cost,” said Florian Hillen, CEO and founder of VideaHealth. “AutoVerify helps practices protect revenue at the source by catching eligibility issues before treatment, saving staff time, improving collections, and giving staff the information they need to have clearer financial conversations that build trust between providers and patients.”
Reported Early Practice Outcomes
Based on early user feedback and internal benchmarking, VideaHealth reports that AutoVerify may contribute to improvements in administrative efficiency and revenue cycle performance. Reported outcomes include high levels of eligibility and benefits accuracy through direct payer integrations, reductions in time spent on manual verification tasks, faster reimbursement timelines, fewer claim denials and write-offs, and improved case acceptance associated with clearer explanations of benefits.
Streamlining Eligibility Verification
Insurance eligibility checks in dental practices often require navigating multiple payer portals, phone calls, and manual documentation. AutoVerify is intended to replace these processes with a standardized workflow that can be completed in under a minute per patient and scaled across single or multi-location practices.
According to VideaHealth, the system verifies patient coverage prior to scheduled visits; retrieves benefits information from multiple sources, including direct payer connections; standardizes plan rules into a consistent, readable format; and delivers eligibility data into the PMS for staff review and updates.
“Our front desk spends a lot of time managing insurance, and anything that reduces manual work and helps us walk into appointments with clearer information is a big win. I’m optimistic this will mean fewer surprises for both our team and our patients,” said Trish Ghaboussi, owner of Madison Smile Solutions.
Practices using the tool report that improved clarity around insurance information can also affect patient interactions.
“We’re intentional about using technology that elevates the patient journey,” said Dr. Robert Raimondi, Founder of One Manhattan Dental. “AutoVerify automates eligibility verification before appointments, creating clarity behind the scenes and a smoother, more refined experience for patients.”
AutoVerify is part of the VideaAI platform, which includes clinical diagnostic support tools, workflow optimization, analytics, and RCM functionality. The addition of AutoVerify expands eligibility visibility across administrative and clinical teams and aligns with other components of the company’s RCM offerings, including Clean Claims.
