Dentsply Sirona will host two implant-focused webinars on its clinical educational platform, DS Academy Campus, offering continuing education credits for dental professionals.
The first webinar, “Prosthetic Dentistry in the Digital Era: How Technology Changed Our Workflows,” is scheduled for February 25, 2026 at 7:00 PM CET. It will be presented by Prof. Dr. Stefan Vandeweghe, Head of the Department of Reconstructive Dentistry at Ghent University. Prof. Dr. Vandeweghe, author of more than 60 international publications, will examine how artificial intelligence and cloud-based platforms are influencing prosthetic dentistry workflows. The session will demonstrate the application of digital technologies across scenarios including tooth-supported restorations, esthetic cases, and full-arch implant rehabilitation. The webinar will be delivered in English and will also be available with German captions and voiceover.
The second webinar, “Managing Implant Restoration Complications: A Practical Guide for Clinicians,” will take place March 12, 2026 at 5:00 PM CET. It will be presented by Dr. Varisha Parikh, a private practice prosthodontist in Los Angeles and a clinical instructor with the Advanced Prosthodontics Residency Program at UCLA. The program will focus on identifying common restorative implant complications, understanding their underlying causes, and developing a systematic approach to assessing and diagnosing these complications in a timely and accurate manner.
The DS Academy Campus includes more than 20 implant dentistry webinars and courses available on demand. The platform is part of the company’s broader clinical education efforts, which include 57 education centers across 35 countries offering in-person and online learning opportunities.
The DS Academy’s Implants Curriculum follows a procedure- and workflow-based approach and includes 16 courses ranging from foundational content to mastery-level instruction. Developed in collaboration with international key opinion leaders and implant clinicians, the series addresses treatments spanning implant restorations, single-tooth cases, and advanced implant procedures, guiding participants through each stage of implant therapy. The curriculum is designed to support clinicians in staying current with evolving materials, technologies, and techniques while advancing clinical and practice goals.
