Ivoclar and Benco Dental have expanded their partnership to make Ivoclar’s complete CAD/CAM block portfolio for the CEREC system available through Benco Dental.
The agreement provides users of the Dentsply Sirona CEREC system with access to Ivoclar’s full CAD/CAM block lineup. The portfolio includes IPS e.max CAD, IPS Empress CAD, IPS e.max ZirCAD Prime, Tetric CAD and Telio CAD, covering a range of materials for esthetic, hybrid and temporary restorations.
“Benco Dental has been a trusted distributor of Ivoclar for more than 20 years,” said Chet Spivey, president of Ivoclar North America. “Expanding our partnership to include blocks for CEREC enables Benco customers to access a complete workflow, helping them deliver practice-enhancing dentistry as they grow their digital capabilities with Dentsply Sirona’s CEREC system.”
Benco Dental has distributed Ivoclar materials in multiple mandrel formats, and the addition of CEREC-compatible blocks extends that offering to chairside CAD/CAM users. According to the companies, the expanded portfolio is intended to support digital workflows across single-tooth and temporary restorations, as well as materials designed for strength and esthetics.
“Benco Dental is committed to making it easy for doctors and their teams to try, buy and maintain the critical technology their practices rely on,” said Katy Cohen, president of Benco Dental. “Ivoclar blocks have earned a legendary reputation in both chairside and lab workflows since their introduction. As a longtime Ivoclar partner and full line Dentsply Sirona dealer, we’re pleased to complete this synergistic product offering for our customers by providing the full range of Ivoclar blocks on the CEREC mandrel.”
Ivoclar blocks and CEREC systems are available for demonstration at Benco Dental’s CenterPoint interior design and equipment showrooms located in Southern California near Los Angeles, North Texas near Dallas, and northeastern Pennsylvania between New York City and Philadelphia.
