BURST Oral Care has announced the launch of the BURST Adult Interdental Floss Pick, a single-use, 2-in-1 interdental cleaning tool designed to support patients who have difficulty using traditional floss. According to the company, the product combines a floss pick with a soft silicone interdental pick in one ergonomic design intended for patients with low dexterity, small mouths, or limited time for oral hygiene routines.
According to the company, the tool was developed to address patient compliance by simplifying daily flossing and providing features aimed at encouraging consistent use. These include black floss designed to show removed plaque and debris; a soft silicone branch pick that dislodges debris and stimulates gum tissue without the use of hard plastic; a contra-angled handle to improve access to posterior molars; xylitol-coated floss to help inhibit cavity-causing bacteria alongside mint essential oils for breath freshening; and a biodegradable wheatgrass-based handle that is paraben-free, BPA-free, vegan, and cruelty-free.
