MaxAssist announced a strategic partnership with Wisdom to provide dental practices with tools and services focused on scheduling, follow-up, billing, and revenue cycle management. According to the companies, the partnership combines MaxAssist’s patient engagement and productivity platform with Wisdom’s outsourced dental billing services to help practices identify operational opportunities and improve collections processes.
The companies said both organizations were founded from experiences inside dental practices where inefficiencies in scheduling, follow-up, and billing affected revenue and staff workloads.
MaxAssist works with practices to identify unscheduled treatment, overdue hygiene appointments, and last-minute openings within practice management systems. Wisdom provides insurance verification, billing, claims management, denials, and collections services.
“MaxAssist was built to solve a very specific problem: helping practices take action on the opportunities already inside their PM systems,” said Jeff Barsotti, CEO of MaxAssist. “Partnering with Wisdom allows us to stay focused on what we do best, while connecting our customers with a trusted team built to help them capture the revenue they’ve already generated.”
Wisdom said its services are supported by U.S.-based billing experts and AI technology designed for dental billing workflows.
“Pairing Wisdom with MaxAssist was a natural fit,” said Stoyan Kenderov, CEO of Wisdom. “MaxAssist has built a best-in-class platform that supports the day-to-day operations of dental practices, and we bring unparalleled expertise in managing billing and collections. Together, we help practices run their business efficiently and more profitably—and make sure their patients leave five-star reviews.”
The companies said the partnership is intended to combine technology with human support, with MaxAssist providing operational insights from practice data and Wisdom supporting insurance and revenue cycle management processes through billing specialists and technology tools.
“Dental teams are stretched thin, and too often they’re forced to choose between keeping the schedule full and keeping up with everything else,” said Lorie Streeter, vp of US expansion at MaxAssist. “This partnership allows practices to stay focused on patients and connection, while knowing both their schedule and their billing are being handled the right way.”
As part of the agreement, MaxAssist customers will have access to preferred rates for Wisdom’s insurance verification and billing services.
MaxAssist said its platform is designed to help practices find and schedule opportunities already within their practice management systems by turning data into workflows and actionable tasks for team members. Wisdom said it supports practices through insurance verification, claims submission, patient billing, and collections services using dental-specific billing tools and support staff.
