SafeLink Consulting Inc. announced the appointment of Matt Rahman as president and managing partner as the company expands its healthcare compliance and cybersecurity advisory capabilities for dental, medical, and regulated organizations nationwide.
Rahman brings more than 25 years of experience in technology, risk, and regulatory compliance. His background includes leading enterprise-wide compliance programs for organizations ranging from multi-site healthcare groups to manufacturing firms, with a focus on scalable frameworks designed to reduce audit findings and integrate risk management into daily operations.
“Too many organizations approach risk and compliance as a perfunctory exercise - something to endure rather than to strategically leverage,” said Rahman. “My objective at SafeLink is to fundamentally shift that perspective. We partner with clients to convert regulatory obligations into measurable operational advantages that fortify their business, safeguard their patients and clients, and position them ahead of evolving regulatory, compliance, and cybersecurity risks.”
Mary Bartlett, founder of SafeLink Consulting, said the appointment aligns with the company’s focus on continuity and growth.
“As SafeLink's founder, it is important to me that its leadership reflects both an understanding of our history and a genuine commitment to the relationships that have driven our success. I am confident Matt will continue to build on that legacy and bring exactly the kind of strategic leadership SafeLink needs as we enter our next chapter,” said Bartlett. “His deep expertise in cybersecurity, HIPAA, and healthcare compliance—combined with his track record of designing scalable programs for multi-site organizations—positions us to serve a broader range of regulated businesses with the rigor and responsiveness they demand.”
Rahman holds an MBA and maintains CISSP and CHPSE certifications. His experience includes HIPAA compliance, AI and cybersecurity risk management, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance frameworks. The company said he also serves on several boards focused on emerging technology and risk governance and regularly speaks at healthcare and cybersecurity forums nationwide.
SafeLink Consulting said the appointment comes as healthcare organizations face increased ransomware attacks, evolving HIPAA enforcement, and new AI governance requirements. Under Rahman’s leadership, the firm is expanding its advisory capabilities in medical device compliance, specialized DSO/MSO operations, and AI risk governance while continuing its work with dental practices, dental laboratories, medical centers, and med spas.
The company recently launched a redesigned advisory platform as part of its expanded integrated compliance partnership model for regulated organizations nationwide. SafeLink Consulting provides advisory services across OSHA, environmental, FDA, HIPAA, and cybersecurity compliance for dental and medical organizations.
