BIOLASE and MegaGen America have officially launched a commercial collaboration in the United States, effective July 1, 2026, as part of a broader integration of the two organizations. The collaboration aligns the companies' commercial operations while maintaining BIOLASE's role in manufacturing and product development and MegaGen America's leadership of commercial activities.
The announcement follows BIOLASE's recent expansion of its manufacturing facility in Corona, California, which the company says will serve as its global center for laser innovation and manufacturing within the MegaGen organization. Under the new structure, BIOLASE will continue to oversee manufacturing, product innovation, and research and development, while MegaGen America will manage sales, marketing, customer service, clinical support, and related commercial operations.
BIOLASE is known for its dental laser technologies used in minimally invasive procedures across multiple clinical disciplines, while MegaGen develops implant systems and digital dentistry solutions. According to the companies, the collaboration is intended to combine these complementary technologies and expertise to support customer education, clinical training, and broader access to advanced dental technologies.
“As we continue building the future of BIOLASE within the MegaGen family, this collaboration represents far more than organizational alignment. It reflects a shared commitment to advancing dentistry through innovation, education, and exceptional customer support,” said Jeff Selph, Director of Sales, North America. “By bringing together BIOLASE’s leadership in laser dentistry with MegaGen America’s commercial capabilities and clinical expertise, we are creating new opportunities to better serve clinicians and improve patient care.”
The companies said teams from both organizations will work together to strengthen customer support, clinical education, training, and commercial operations. The collaboration will operate under the initiative, "Moving Beyond: More Brilliant Dentistry Together," which reflects the organizations' shared focus on innovation and partnership.
Despite the closer operational alignment, BIOLASE and MegaGen America will continue to operate under separate brand identities. The companies said a coordinated communications strategy will emphasize the collaboration while maintaining the distinct positioning of each brand.
“Under the new operating model, BIOLASE will serve as the center of excellence for manufacturing, product innovation, and research and development, while MegaGen America will lead commercial operations, including sales, marketing, customer service, and clinical support,” said Kristina Diluzio, Managing Director & HR, MegaGen America. “This strategic alignment enables each organization to focus on its core strengths, creating a more agile organization, and enhanced experience for customers.”
According to the companies, the collaboration is intended to support continued development of dental technologies, educational programs, customer support, and clinical solutions for dental practices.
