Dentsply Sirona will host the 2026 MIS Education Forum on November 13 and 14 at the Dentsply Sirona Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina, according to a press release. The 2-day program will feature lectures, hands-on training, and peer discussions addressing clinical considerations in implant dentistry.
The forum, themed “Simplifying Implant Success Through Science, Innovation & Clinical Excellence,” will address restorative-driven implant treatment, including digital planning and surgical and restorative workflows. Topics will include digital planning for single-unit and full-arch cases, immediate implant placement and provisionalization, anterior esthetic treatment, and full-arch rehabilitation. Sessions will also address the identification and management of surgical and restorative complications.
Faculty members will include Nikolaos Soldatos, DDS, PhD, MSD, a board-certified periodontist and implant surgeon, associate professor, and clinical director of the postgraduate Advanced Program in Periodontics at Oregon Health & Science University; Luciano Retana, DDS, MS, CDT, a prosthodontist, educator, and certified dental technician; Adam Foleck, DMD, co-director of the Chicago Implant Institute and director of Implant Mentoring Partners; and Eric Vickery, president of coaching at All-Star Dental Academy.
“Clinicians need more than access to technology - they need opportunities to understand the science behind it, develop practical skills, and exchange experiences with their peers,” said Mark Bezjak, group vice president of the Americas Regional Commercial Organization at Dentsply Sirona. He added that the forum is intended to help dental professionals evaluate implant treatment decisions and apply what they learn according to individual patient needs.
In addition to surgical and restorative techniques, the program will address patient communication and the role of balanced treatment discussions in informed decision-making. Attendees will also have opportunities to discuss clinical challenges and exchange perspectives with faculty and other dental professionals.
